Sometimes projects sit and marinate for longer than planned. On the bright side, they usually end up perfectly cooked, just like this community edit we filmed almost two years ago. In the midst of wrangling together the East Coast’s finest skaters for this private event, it snowed the day prior to our planned gathering. We drove up to the hill the evening before and found it covered in a blanket of wintery-mix. With folks traveling across multiple state lines to attend, we crossed our fingers and hoped for the best. By mid-morning, the course started steaming as the sun crested the ridge and gave way to the first few runs. Over the course of the afternoon, we shuttled as many runs as we could, bursting with high spirits. We would like to extend a huge thanks to the team of corner marshals, u-haul drivers, and media makers that helped make this day one for the books.
